1995 Version E Disneyland Map
The 1995 Version E Disneyland Map is the first map in the last series of the Disneyland large park maps. Designed by artist Nina Rae Vaughn, the style is inspired by the first series of maps, bringing back the orange character border. The first printing and release of this map was found to have several errors. The errors are so extensive that there is no map in all the series comparable to the 1995 Version E Disneyland map. Once the errors were realized, this version was quickly pulled from circulation. Consequently, this is one of the more rare maps of all the series to find.

The errors on the map include the wrong font style used for the naming of attractions (ie – the incorrect capitalization of “It’s a Small World”), the wrong date to identify when Disneyland opened (the map identifies the date as July 15, 1955 when it was actually July 17, 1955), and the presence of a single floating Skyway bucket in Tomorrowland. While the Skyway had been removed just months before the release of this map version, this single ghost bucket floats as an eerie reminder of lost attractions in Disneyland. It’s also to note that this map version was printed on a high quality glossy paper stock. The corrected version of this map that came out the same year did not use this high quality paper stock.
