1958 Version A Disneyland Map
The 1958 Version A Disneyland Map was the first map released to the general public. Guests of the park first viewed Version A in the early Spring of 1958. It was an immediate hit with park goers. Two more maps were released this year, known as Version B and Version C. All have orange borders and a 1958 copyright in the lower right corner of the map. This is the easiest way to distinguish these maps from the maps of the second, third, and fourth series. The 1958 Version A, however, has several identifying marks that separates it from the 1958 Version B and Version C maps.

The 1958 Version A has several unique details that are missing in the next versions of this series. These are the green waters in the Jungle Cruise, the Junior Autopia and Viewliner attractions, and “Snow Mountain”. Snow Mountain is replaced in all future maps by the Matterhorn attraction. Thus making Version INA and Version A the only two maps not to feature the famous Matterhorn.
